The Problelm
| One of a Contractor's biggest theft problems relates to theft of tools and materials from worksite trailers. In some cases the entire trailer is stolen and moved to a remote location and then broken into and stripped of all saleable tools and materials. However, the most common loss occurs when the trailer is broken into on site and tools are stolen. It is not uncommon for a trailer to have many thousands of dollars worth of generators, welders, compressors, lasers, and hand tools. These items are easily transported and readily sold. Some insurance companies offer discounts for trailers which are protected by devices such as this one. |
Our Solution
This is an affordable GPS device for remotely tracking and managing mobile assets, It combines accurate positioning
and real-time communication to give operators around-the-clock location and status information.
This unit uses MicroBurst® technology for communications which retrieves only small amounts of data at one time.
Using this unit and our Internet web application, customers can capture their needed information and pin point the
location of their assets cost-effectively throughout North America plus parts of Central and South America.
These units are also used on contractors worksite trailers, commercial lawn mowers trailers, and trailers used by race
car drivers. The dual mode alarm system notifies when a break in occurs and also notifies when the trailer is moved.
These units are especially useful for trailers which have high value cargo and are parked for extended periods. No
need to worry about the battery running down. The internal battery is kept charged by a solar cell.
The two sirens, one internal and one mounted outside under the trailer, are activated by door alarms and vibration
sensors. When the alarm goes off the trailer lights flash and the brakes are locked. If equipped with the optional GPS,
the unit notifies via email and text messaging. The GPS provides exact location of the trailer at all times.
