| Our Systems utilize the GPS (Global Positioning System) which consists of a number of satellites launched by the US Military. These satellites provide signals which enable a GPS Receiver to pinpoint its location to within a few feet. Speed, Direction, and Altitude are also calculated. Our system box contains both a GPS Receiver and a cellular telephone. The GPS receiver acquires the location, sped and direction. It then passes it to the cell phone which, in turn passes this information back to our servers which put the information up on the Internet. We send this information using micro burst technology. This allows us to send the GPS data in a fraction of a second, thus minimizing cost of airtime. Our system boxes are programmable, in that commands can be sent to them enabling the user to custom configure the frequency of reports as well as many other features to his own particular wants and needs. Our servers store your data securely for a one year period. Just in case you wanted to know where your truck, or dozer was a year ago..... Our system boxes are self diagnosing. When installing a system, after the GPS and Cell Antennas are in place the unit should be powered up. There are four lights on the back of the system box. After about two to four minutes you should have two solid lights and two lights blinking in a railroad crossing type pattern. This indicated that you have both GPS and Cell lock. The illustration on the lower right of this screen shows this feature. A typical system consists of a system unit, a GPS antenna, a cellular antenna, and a power cable. The Picture below at left shows a complete system package. |
